Blueberry Pie Kefir Smoothie

What’s not to love about frozen blueberries, bananas, crushed graham crackers, pecans and toasted coconut. Add some blueberry kefir for a delicious boost of calcium, protein and gut-friendly probiotics and you’ve got yourself a refreshingly creamy summer treat.

Blueberry Pie Kefir Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup blueberry kefir

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 medium ripe banana, sliced and frozen

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

crushed graham crackers, toasted pecans, toasted coconut and fresh blueberries for layering

Directions

Add kefir, frozen blueberries, banana and vanilla to a blender or food processor. Blend on high until smooth. Divide the blueberry mixture between two glasses and layer it with crushed graham crackers, pecans, coconut and extra blueberries. If you’re feeling a bit decadent, finish with a dollop of whipped cream.
