Hassle-Free Weeknight Sprouts

For many of you, your “to-do” list is never-ending. Between working, kids activities, social events, and family commitments, there never seems to be enough hours in the day.

Alexa, at Athens Nutrition, believes that making satisfying meals should not contribute to your stress so she’s provided us with an easy way to make delicious, hassle-free veggies with just two main ingredients.

Roasting these antioxidant-rich Brussels sprouts in a small amount of olive oil will help them develop a rich flavor without the excess calories found in the fried version served at many restaurants. The fruitiness of the balsamic glaze compliments the bitterness of the Brussels sprouts, and feel free to top them with slivered almonds for extra crunch or fresh herbs for added flavor. The minimal number of ingredients in this dish means less time spent in the kitchen and more time spent check off your “to-do” list.
