You could just eat yogurt, berries and granola in a bowl but why not layer those same ingredients in a jar. Boring bowl transformed into pretty parfait because parfaits turn simple ingredients into a special occasion. For a nutrient balanced breakfast, layer low-fat plain Greek yogurt or cottage cheese (for calcium and protein), assorted nuts or seeds (for fiber and healthy fat) and berries (for fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants). If you would like more sweetness, try a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of granola. You can make this parfait the night before, using a 16-ounce Mason Jar with a lid, for breakfast on-the-go! No recipe needed. You’ll probably need a 5-ounce container of yogurt (or 3/4 cup), 1/2-1 cup of berries and about an ounce of nuts.
