Green Goddess Dressing

This is not the trending TikTok version that calls for over 16 ingredients but rather a deliciously easy, 6-ingredient dressing that comes together with a whirl of your blender. You’ll want to keep it on hand for your favorite salads, a dip for crunch veggies or as a marinade chicken or fish. This dressing uses avocado as a creamy substitute for mayo, fresh herbs to brighten the flavor and buttermilk for a zing of tartness. This recipe is was adapted from Ellie Krieger, RDN.

Nutrition Note: Avocado’s are high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat. Their rich, creamy texture makes them an excellent substitute for cream or butter and they also add a silky texture when added to smoothies.  Buttermilk is naturally low in fat and cultured so it brings the benefit of gut-healthy probiotics.
